Single building entries from Hauff-Technik can be relied upon for professional and reliable seals between buildings and supply lines for fibre-optic or copper cables. Whether through basement walls, floor slabs or above-ground through the outside wall: they can be installed quickly and safely in a matter of minutes and are gastight and watertight. Our fibre-optic building entries offer an innovative quick installation system. This system features components that are compatible for use in all standard types of wall, and it is virtually impossible to make a mistake during the installation process. In addition to the standard open construction, in many cases it is possible to create a building connection by pulling through an empty conduit, without the need for major groundwork.
Our single building entries for trenchless construction do not require an installation trench on the outside of the building. The building entries can be installed entirely from the inside of the building, making them ideal for use if the building connection has been built over or is difficult to access. Like our open construction single building entries, with our trenchless installation method we also guarantee that the building entry will subsequently benefit from professional sealing.
The expansion of fibre optics represents a significant contemporary challenge. There is a pressing need for cost-effective, secure, and rapid solutions for fibre optic house entrances. Hauff-Technik offers the necessary components to establish Fibre to the Home (FTTH), facilitating a reliable fibre optic connection directly to residences. By leveraging innovative technologies, Hauff-Technik ensures efficient installations that cater to the growing demand for high-speed internet access in residential neighbourhoods.
Currently, the main focus is on retrofitting fibre optic connections in existing properties. This requires a technology that facilitates quick and efficient fibre optic house entries with minimal effort. Whether it involves a single-family home, a multi-family dwelling, or a multi-story building, Hauff-Technik's fibre optic transfer system is equipped to handle these installations. This system is also suitable for new constructions, providing a flexible solution for both retrofitting and new builds.
Hauff-Technik presents the 2LINE G-BOX system, designed to facilitate the installation of fibre optic cables from the distribution point to the home entrance. Each component is thoughtfully engineered to work seamlessly together, providing all necessary parts for creating a fibre optic connection. This cohesive system not only streamlines the installation process but also ensures that both new constructions and existing buildings can easily benefit from high-speed fibre internet access.
The 2LINE G-BOX system from Hauff-Technik includes a well pipe set specifically designed for the underground installation of fibre optic cables. This set is compatible with all other components in the series and comes with sealing sleeves and fastening clips for connecting individual well pipes. This ensures a waterproof construction without needing additional accessories. The well pipes facilitate the creation of empty conduits for fibre optic cables, running from the street's distribution point to the fibre optic entry point of the building.
The core components of the 2LINE G-BOX system act as fibre optic handover points. These units are buried underground yet provide a permanent inspection shaft for future access. The covers are available in either cast iron or corrosion-resistant plastic, with maximum load capacities of 20 tons for cast iron and 12.5 tons for plastic. These covers can only be opened with special keys, ensuring that the fibre optic cables are protected from unauthorized access. The installation allows for individual adjustments through height adjustability, accommodating installation depths between 480 and 580 mm.
Beneath the core component, the introduction stopper is mounted with a precise snap-fit connection, allowing for tool-free installation. Up to four micro pipes can be housed in this introduction stopper. The sealing housing, which includes a cover and sleeve, is specifically designed for compatibility with both the core component and the introduction stopper. This enables a waterproof and gas-tight installation at the fibre optic handover points, achieving an IP68 protection rating.
During the installation phase, Hauff-Technik's pylons help protect the delicate fibre optic cables. Their bright orange color ensures high visibility. These pylons serve as temporary secure storage for the fibre cable depot or the 2LINE G-BOX cable system during installation. Special screws prevent unauthorized access and safeguard the data lines.
With its features, the 2LINE G-BOX system from Hauff-Technik allows for a swift setup of fibre optic home connections. No special tools are required, and cable overlengths can be stored professionally.
Fibre optic cables are introduced underground through the foundation of the house. A cable duct serves as the interface between the interior and exterior. Hauff-Technik offers a variety of cable ducts and complete systems for the installation of utility lines in buildings. These solutions can be utilized for new constructions or retrofitted during fibre optic installations.
A key component of this system is the 2-LINE G-BOX termination point. This termination point is installed at the fibre optic line either inside or outside the building and can accommodate up to three LC duplex connectors and six LC pigtails. Designed specifically for fibre optic terminations, it allows for convenient storage of excess cable lengths in a separate box. The thoughtful design of the fibre routing minimizes unwanted signal attenuation. Additionally, the 2-LINE G-BOX termination point can be installed underground within the main component, providing flexibility and reliability in the installation process.
The 2-LINE G-BOX series includes various accessories designed to facilitate the professional installation of fibre optic cables. One essential component is the connection set for managing excess fibre lengths. These sets protect sensitive optical fibres from bending and allow for easy rolling and storage, ensuring the cables remain clean and free from contamination. The connection sets are compatible with different media pipes, accommodating diameters ranging from seven to twelve millimeters, making them suitable for a wide range of installation scenarios.
